5-YEAR LIMITED JEWELRY WARRANTY AGREEMENT

This 5-Year Limited Jewelry Warranty (“Agreement”) is issued by Golden Crown Jewellers (“the Company”) to the original purchaser (“the Customer”) named below. This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which the Company will provide complimentary jewelry maintenance and repair services for qualifying items.

1. QUALIFYING ITEMS

This warranty applies only to:

  • Engagement rings purchased directly from Golden Crown Jewellers with a retail value of $3,000 (CAD) or greater before taxes.

  • Qualifying items must be accompanied by an original proof of purchase and the completed warranty registration at the time of sale.

  • Jewelry below this purchase threshold, promotional items, or pieces purchased from third-party retailers, consignment, or resale channels do not qualify for this warranty.

2. WARRANTY COVERAGE

For a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase, Golden Crown Jewellers agrees to provide the following services at no cost to the Customer:

  1. Unlimited Professional Cleanings – Complimentary ultrasonic or steam cleaning for the duration of the warranty.

  2. Annual Polishing – Complimentary refinishing and polishing limited to once per calendar year.

  3. Ring Resizing – Complimentary resizing up to two (2) sizes up or down during the warranty period.

    • Any resizing beyond two sizes will be subject to regular service fees.

    • Sizing performed on the date of purchase is complimentary, regardless of size.

  4. Replacement of Missing Accent Diamonds or Gemstones – Golden Crown Jewellers will replace any small accent stones that become loose or fall out, excluding the center stone, at no charge.

  5. Prong Tightening and Security Inspections – Included during routine maintenance visits to ensure the integrity of your setting.

3. CONDITIONS FOR VALIDITY

This warranty is valid only under the following conditions:

  • The jewelry must be inspected every six (6) months by Golden Crown Jewellers or an authorized representative.

  • Each inspection must be recorded and dated in the warranty record below.

  • Failure to complete inspections within the required 6-month interval will void this warranty.

  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

4. EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover:

  • Loss, theft, or deliberate damage to the jewelry or gemstones.

  • Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized alterations.

  • Damaged mountings or bent settings caused by impact or improper wear.

  • Re-tipping of prongs, rhodium plating, or rhodium refinishing beyond what is stated in Section 2.

  • Repairs, sizing, or modifications performed by anyone other than Golden Crown Jewellers.

  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dullness, or surface abrasions.

  • Replacement of the center stone.

5. CLAIM PROCEDURE

To request service under this warranty:

  • Present the jewelry item, proof of purchase, and this signed warranty agreement at any Golden Crown Jewellers location.

  • The Company reserves the right to inspect and evaluate the item prior to performing any covered service.

  • Services not covered under this warranty will be quoted and performed at the Customer’s request.

6. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

7. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This document constitutes the entire warranty agreement between Golden Crown Jewellers and the Customer. No oral or written representations outside this Agreement shall be binding on the Company.

8. INSPECTION RECORD

After every inspection visit, a technician will document notes from the inspection for maintenance purposes. Inspections are at no extra cost.

  • Simply bring your jewelry, proof of purchase, and your warranty agreement into any Golden Crown Jewellers location. All items are inspected prior to service. Any work not covered under the warranty will be quoted before proceeding.

  • No. The warranty does not cover loss or replacement of the center stone. It applies only to small accent diamonds or gemstones that become loose or fall out during normal wear.

  • The warranty includes complimentary professional cleanings, annual polishing, ring resizing (up to two sizes up or down), replacement of small accent stones (excluding the center stone), and prong tightening or security inspections—provided all warranty conditions are met.

  • Yes. Professional ultrasonic or steam cleanings are complimentary and unlimited for the full 5-year warranty period.

  • No. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

  • Simply bring your jewelry, proof of purchase, and your warranty agreement into any Golden Crown Jewellers location. All items are inspected prior to service. Any work not covered under the warranty will be quoted before proceeding.

  • Most cleanings, inspections, and minor repairs can be completed same day or within a few business days. More complex repairs or custom work may require additional time, which we’ll discuss with you upfront.
